I finally got to try my new yummy biscuit. It's now Monday, and I really wanted to try their food. The day was off to a great start until we found a place to park in the now bustling downtown Alpharetta, walked around the block in the beautiful morning sunshine, rounded the corner and I opened the door for my wife- NOT! Nope. We planned our Sunday festivities with a scrumptious breakfast / brunch consisting of biscuits, fried chicken, and lots of maple syrup. I even got Leslie and our daughter very excited to try it out. I was looking forward to enjoying what I thought had the potential to be my new favorite breakfast place. I mean, it's fried chicken and biscuits with maple syrup! It sounds great. When I first read about Maple Street Biscuit Company, I got very excited. TLDR: Would I drive by a McDonalds or Burger King to go to Maple Street Biscuit Company? Yes! What about Chik-fil-A? No! Oh so good and you can buy coffee by the pound. Two of us split the Five: A biscuit with fried chicken, pecan bacon, cheddar cheese and slathered with sausage gravy. I happened to be on the Alpharetta visitors site and noticed that Maple Street Biscuits would be “opening soon” and I wish you could know how elated this made me! I went to the Maple Street Biscuits site and to my surprise, they were already open in Duluth and in Woodstock.īesides making incredible biscuits from scratch, they also offer coffee with a hint of maple, hence the name. We bought a bag of beans home and I’m not kidding when I say that I had coffee withdrawal after we polished off our bag of Maple Street coffee. Their coffee has just a dash of maple in it. We discovered this amazing coffee roaster and breakfast spot while driving around in Jacksonville – Maple Street Biscuits. We had a lovely stay at the Casa Marina resort and enjoyed a visit to the quirky St. A couple years ago, I visited Jacksonville for a couple days.
