Not only was this event especially significant to Mr. After 37 years of service, Allan McMorris is retiring on August 30, making this ribbon-cutting event particularly special. Vibe was proud to invite its branch staff, executive team, Board of Directors, friends from the City of Novi, and Novi Chamber of Commerce to celebrate the day. Allan McMorris, President/CEO of Vibe Credit Union, said, “When we learned about their mission, we knew that sponsoring them was a perfect fit for Vibe.” Their staff and their commitment to community are beyond excellence." Vibe Credit Union donated $10,000 to MFR in support of their mission to waste less and feed more. Brad Resnick, Development Coordinator of MFR, commented, "Metro Food Rescue is so honored to be supported by Vibe Credit Union. The kits will provide approximately 1,600 meals. In just two hours, 14 Vibe employees assembled over 400 soup kits.


The afternoon began with a soup-making kit activity hosted by Metro Food Rescue (MFR) and donated to Novi-based food pantry, Zelphia’s Community Kitchen.
